BUSINESS APPLICATION ANALYST (BA Analyst)
ROLE PURPOSE
Under the IT Manager’s supervision, mainly responsible for the SAP/BW support and other business application,. Also responsible and in charge as SAP’s Single Point of Contact
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Develop and support Web and Microsoft Excel based reporting solutions, primarily using Sandoz’s SAP Business Warehouse (BW) application
* Report status, communicate project issues, and participate in project meetings as required.
* Develop and maintain SAP BW queries using SAP tools such as Query Designer, Business Explorer (BEx) and Web Application Designer is preferred.
* Work with the SAP BW database modeling team and to communicate report requirements and test data modeling changes.
* Work with other development support teams to complete report development and resolve project issues.
* Responsible to maintain local application (CAMS – call activity monitoring-, SPC –sponsorship controlling-) and other local applications intalled.
* Document test plans and complete Unit Testing of developed reports. Work with Quality Assurance resources to coordinate and complete System and Integration Testing.
* Analyze and communicate report development issues, including problems with data integrity, data design, and functional and technical software issues.
* Understand the firm’s business systems, accounting practices, and reporting systems. Consult with end users, business analysts, subject matter experts, and project team members to understand reporting requirements and resolve complex design issues impacting reports.
* Provide support to users, write/direct project related documentation such as technical system design, user manual, etc.
* As SAP Single Point of Contact (SPOC) will:
+ Act as the team lead of all the Super Users
+ Help resolve & consolidate first level issues
+ Supervises & coordinates each incident & enhancement and be the requestor for enhancements
+ Jointly with SISNet Account Manager in ensuring service delivery of requested incidents & enhancements.
+ Periodic account management conference together with SISNet Account Manager
+ Ensure SAP knowledge retention within the organization
+ Assist to cascade relevant information to the users
REQUIREMENTS
Educational : University Degree in Accounting Computer
Experience : 2 years in SAP / BW reports implementation
Others :
* Good knowledge in at least one additional SAP module (BW,MM,SD,FI,CO)
* Skilled in organization change requirements (project and change management education) as well as knowledge of integration aspects of related modules
* Excellent knowledge of business processes and capable of customizing SAP to meet business requirements within the pharmaceutical industry, experience in regulated system environment (CSV/SOX)
* Excellent customer orientation & communication skills are a “must” as daily contact with our key customers is part of this role
